MIB Agents visit to Dr Richards Lab

“MIB Agents Is A Leading Pediatric Osteosarcoma Nonprofit Dedicated To Making It Better For Our Community Of Patients, Families, Medical Professionals, Researchers, And Industry Partners Through Programs, Education, And Research.”

“Macrophage Engineered Vesicles for Pediatric Osteosarcoma” is a grant led by Dr. Richards (UK) and sponsored by the MIB Agents. As part of the collaboration, the MIB representatives, Christina Ip-Toma (Director of Scientific Programs), Carolyne Richtarsic (Director of Finance), and Walker Smallwood (Junior Advisory Board) visited University of Kentucky on January 28th, 2025.

During the visit, the MIB guests shared their mission, programs, and inspiring stories; Dr Richards provided insights into the research up to date; Walker Smallwood, osteosarcoma survivor, shared his story.

The guests had a chance to tour the Markey Cancer Center facilities, the UK Light Microscopy Core, as well as the Bioelectronics and Nanomedicine Research Center, and Dr. Richards lab.
